Everybody loves it when two massive franchises come together, right? Of course, but especially when the parties involved make everything jive, which is what Dead By Daylight often nails. Well, buckle up, as another big mash-up is happening soon.
On Tuesday, Behaviour Interactive announced Resident Evil: Project W — a new chapter coming to Dead By Daylight later this year. Unfortunately, the company didn’t give any hard details regarding the killer or survivor characters. Who needs official sources when leakers are out there giving us some hints, though!
Over on Reddit, user Glamarchy recently shared a screenshot claiming Resident Evil fan-favorites like Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers will be survivors, while Albert Wesker is the new killer. Take all of this with a pinch of salt, but “Project W” probably alludes to Wesker. All we can do is speculate for now.
Project W is the second Resident Evil chapter for Dead By Daylight. Last year, iconic characters like Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, and Nemesis joined the fray. Probably one of the more popular collaborations Behaviour Interactive has done. Another recent example would be the Ringu Chapter featuring Sadako.
As an avid Dead By Daylight fan and Resident Evil diehard, it’s exciting that another crossover is happening. I still wish Mr. X was a killer, though.
