De’Aaron Fox trolled Knicks fans after NBA lottery drop

Ouch.

It happened again.

The New York Knicks didn’t end up with a top pick in the 2020 NBA draft after the lottery ping pong balls handed them the No. 8 selection, meaning they moved down based on their odds.

Yes, there were a ton of jokes, with “Knicks” as the top Twitter trend Thursday night. And there were even NBA players joking, too.

Sacramento Kings star De’Aaron Fox — taken at No. 5 in 2017 by the Kings three picks before the Knicks took Frank Ntilikina — joined in on the fun on Twitter and responded to fans claiming it wasn’t “slander” with what he was saying:

Boston Celtics center and former Knick Enes Kanter also appeared to get in on the fun:

If this is how current players react, imagine how other stars feel about the franchise. The hope that this pick and the new front office and coaching staff can finally send the Knicks in the right direction.
