David Ragan to drive No. 60 car for RFK Racing in 2024 Daytona 500

RFK Racing announced on Wednesday afternoon that David Ragan will drive the No. 60 Cup car for the organization in the 2024 Daytona 500

[autotag]RFK Racing[/autotag] has been teasing a third car for the 2024 Daytona 500, and the organization confirmed it on Wednesday afternoon. RFK Racing announced that [autotag]David Ragan[/autotag] will drive the No. 60 car at the 2024 Daytona 500. Ragan will need to qualify for the event, as the third entry is considered open. The No. 60 car will be alongside the other 36 guaranteed entries.

The 37-year-old driver competed in every Daytona 500 from 2006 to 2022 before not participating in last season’s event. Ragan spent 2007 to 2011 with RFK Racing and won at Daytona International Speedway in his final year. He has experience winning races at NASCAR’s top level but has never been able to win the Daytona 500.

Overall, this is a great partnership between Ragan and RFK Racing. The NASCAR team didn’t announce any additional races for the No. 60 entry, but it hasn’t been ruled out. RFK Racing has been electric on superspeedway tracks since Brad Keselowski’s arrival, and it wouldn’t be out of the question to see Ragan compete if he makes the event.
