Former Tennessee baseball head coach Dave Serrano is serving in the same capacity for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots in 2023.
Anchorage competes in the collegiate summer wood bat Alaska League. Players in the Alaska League must have attended one year in college, while having one year of eligibility remaining.
Serrano served as the Vols’ head coach from 2012-17, compiling a 157-163 record (55-120 SEC). Prior to Tennessee, he served as head coach at Cal State Fullerton, UC Irvine and Cerritos College. From 2020-22, Serrano served as head coach at Cal State Northridge.
Serrano also held an assistant coach position at Tennessee from 1995-96 under head coach Rod Delmonico.
