Let’s get this out of the way in the spirit of sportsmanship: Congratulations to former Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud, who was just selected at No. 2 in the 2023 NFL draft by the Houston Texans.
That said: now it’s petty SZN.
As usual, after Stroud was selected, the networks showed his greatest highlights as a Buckeye. But it turns out one thing was very notably missing. Or, better said, one team was absent from the highlight package.
As the alumnus of the school that houses said team, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy had the ultimate mic drop after Stroud’s selection.
Potential CJ Stroud Red Flag – no highlights in his highlight package against his #1 rival during his entire career

That’s right: no Michigan football.
As a class of 2020 recruit, Stroud never beat Michigan. Not while he was on the bench backing up Justin Fields, nor as the starting quarterback the past two years.
You hate to see it.
