Davante Adams’ locker room video showed Raiders’ vibes have already improved with Josh McDaniels gone

Don’t think he’s missing Josh McDaniels one bit.

This really had to be quite a week for Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams.

Just a couple days after he was visibly furious on the sidelines amid a Monday night loss to the Lions, Adams learned that the Raiders had fired head coach Josh McDaniels and benched quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

And let me tell ya, the vibes are already looking better in Las Vegas.

As the Raiders finished up Thursday’s practice session, we saw a video of Adams in the locker room playing mini basketball as he mockingly called out an inevitable media and fan overreaction to him enjoying himself. But really, the takeaway here should be, “Look! He’s finally enjoying himself!” As in that’s good news for the Raiders. (Warning: The video contains NSFW language)

The fact that he immediately proceeded to drain the long shot was pretty epic too.

Adams only has double-digit receptions in one game this season, which was also his only 100-yard game of 2023. It’s been a rough go, and he clearly knows it. But things might finally be looking up for the star receiver.

At the very least, he gave fans one incredible video.
