New Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey has been very active since he took over the job in early November. He has made a slew of changes up and down the roster and he has been active on social media.
He has been welcoming players to the team on Twitter, he went to go pick up Dwight Howard from the airport and posted it on Instagram, and now he is on Reddit taking questions from Sixers fans. He has certainly been active not only for the Sixers, but the Philadelphia community and that should bode well for him and his popularity with the fan base.
On Friday night, Morey did an “AMA” session with fans and received tons of questions. One fan asked specifically about young guard Shake Milton who finished the season as the starting point guard. He showed off a lot in his second season in the league and Morey had high praise for him on the Reddit question board.

Milton averaged 9.4 points and 2.6 assists while shooting 43% from deep in the 2019-20 season. The Sixers made him the starting point guard when the season resumed in the bubble in Orlando due to his strong performances before the season was suspended in March.
Milton shot a scorching 51.2% from deep and he averaged 12.8 points and 3.1 assists while taking advantage of more playing time due to injury. He even had a game where he scored 39 points on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers who were coached by Doc Rivers at the time. Now that Rivers is in Philadelphia, he also had a lot of praise for his new young guard.
With training camp opening on Dec. 1, Milton certainly will have an opportunity to start on this team. He will have to battle with Seth Curry and Danny Green in order to get the starting nod. [lawrence-related id=39578,39575,39572]
