[autotag]Darren Till[/autotag] has released a statement following his withdrawal from UFC on ABC 2.
Originally scheduled to take on Marvin Vettori as the promotion’s April 10 headlining bout, Till (18-3-1 MMA, 6-3-1 UFC) withdrew from the fight Tuesday due to a collarbone injury.
Shortly after news of his withdrawal surfaced, Till issued a lengthy statement on his Instagram page. The former UFC middleweight title challenger expressed deep disappointment.
Every person who is around me or who has been around me knows I train on a daily basis with f*cked up knees, lower back, shoulders, hands and the list goes on,” Till wrote. “Yesterday while drilling I fell and straight away I knew I’d broken something. To say I’m f*cking destroyed by it is an understatement. I’ve literally put my heart, soul, mind, physical body, cash, nutrition, sleep, recovery & then some into making sure I went out there next week & took his head off. And I was 100% sure I was going to… and with ease!!!

Till apologized to Vettori (16-4-1 MMA, 6-2-1 UFC), and thanked his fans and those around him for their ongoing support, before he vowed to become UFC middleweight champion.
One thing, I know who doesn’t support me in this sport and I want you to keep that same energy as the new generation say mark my words I will do anything and everything to become Middleweight world champion. Peace see you all soon. Even got the UFC to change the times of the Vegas event for the 1st time in history for us Europeans. Power moves.

Till has now pulled out of back-to-back fights. He was scheduled to fight Jack Hermansson at a UFC Fight Night event on Dec. 5 but withdrew due to a nagging knee injury.
It is unclear whether or not Vettori will remain on the card. [autotag]Kevin Holland[/autotag] has volunteered to step into the spot voided by Till (18-3-1 MMA, 6-3-1 UFC). His manager Oren Hodak told MMA Junkie on Tuesday that they have accepted the fight but are waiting to hear back from the UFC.
