Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Darius Bazley was given the job of mop-up duty during practice on Thursday as the team’s social media staff hilariously caught it all on tape.
During a break in the action, Bazley grabbed a mop and proceeded to clean the floor as if an actual game was taking place. The scene was reminiscent of how an arena worker will often rush to clean the court after free throws or when a player falls to the ground.
To make the scene even more entertaining, Bazley’s teammates were right there cheering him on from the sidelines during the video clip posted on Twitter.

As for his actual basketball performance on the court, Bazley and the Thunder picked up an impressive win Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. Chris Paul led the Thunder with 21 points in the 105-86 win while Bazley had two points in 22 minutes of work.
The Thunder play next on Friday vs. the Memphis Grizzlies.
