The UFC is seemingly inching closer to booking [autotag]Darren Till[/autotag]’s next fight.
In an interview with The Mac Life released Tuesday, UFC president Dana White revealed the promotion is looking at two possible events for Till.
“We’ve been talking to him and bouncing around with different opponents,” White said. “We’ll have something for him very soon. … It’ll either be London or Vegas.”
Till recently has teased a potential matchup in Vegas on social media. On Sunday, the former UFC welterweight title challenger posted a screenshot of a chart of Las Vegas’ average weather in March. The caption read, “Let’s go champ?”
As for an opponent, White elected not to reveal specifics. When asked however, the UFC boss indicated the chances of Till taking on middleweight contender [autotag]Jack Hermansson[/autotag] are low.
“Probably not (against Hermansson),” White said. “We’ll see how this thing plays out. Yeah, (it’ll be) one of the top guys.”

The promotion’s return to London, UFC on ESPN+ 29, takes place March 21. While no headliner has been officially announced, a 170-pound matchup between Tyron Woodley and Leon Edwards is in the works for the main event.
As for the UFC’s March return to Las Vegas, UFC 248 takes place March 7. No headliner is set, but a strawweight title fight between Weili Zhang and Joanna Jedrzejczyk is on tap.
Till most recently competed at UFC 244 in November. The bout marked his first competition since March. Taking on Kelvin Gastelum in the event’s co-headliner, Till earned a split decision victory.
