The internet, from time to time, helps create touching moments and memories that will last a lifetime. And, thanks to a viral video of one New Jersey Dolphins fan, Dan Marino has provided an unforgettable pep talk.
Mike Shrimp, as profiled by NJ.com, was hospitalized two years ago for an infection that eventually led to a series of strokes that dramatically changed his life and led to grueling rehab to regain even the most basic of daily functions. So when Shrimp, on his long road to recovery, was able to successfully mount a flight of stairs while sporting a Dan Marino t-shirt, it was impossible to not celebrate along with him at the top.
The video found its way to Marino himself, who took the time to reach out to Shrimp and offer him some words of encouragement. You can see Shrimp’s initial triumph and Marino’s heartfelt message below:

We’re fairly certain we speak for everyone in saying we’re hoping to see that bomb Marino talked about somewhere down the line, too — one would think that with Marino’s video message is all the inspiration Shrimp needs to make it happen.
