We’re living in the middle of a pandemic, so wearing a mask at all times while out in public is essential.
Damian Lillard gets that. He might be in the middle of an NBA season and putting on MVP caliber performances night in and night out, but he never forgets to put that mask on when the time comes.
That led to a hilarious moment on Wednesday night after the Blazers beat the Pelicans in a 126-124 shootout. He put up 43 points and 16 assists in the big win and made play after play for the Blazers.
Of course, Lillard had the postgame interview. But that’s where the funniest moment of the night came in.
Lillard tried to put his mask on in the middle of the interview while wearing a headset. It took a second, but he realized that he was tripping.

Just incredible, man. Don’t worry, Dame. It happens to us all. At least we know that masking up is a priority for him. That’s always a good thing.
