In the scariest moment of the NFL season — and in recent memory — Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field Monday night, needing to be resuscitated following cardiac arrest. Over the course of the next five days, Hamlin continued to improve as he awakened, was able to ask questions and eventually got to FaceTime his teammates.
Support for Hamlin poured in around the country as fans inundated his fundraiser with over $7 million, sent well-wishes via social media and more.
Well on Saturday, Hamlin got on social media for the first time since the terrifying ordeal to thank everyone for the support and love.
Putting love into the world comes back 3xs as much… thankful for everyone who has reached out and prayed. This will make me stronger on the road to recovery, keep praying for me! 🫶🏾3️⃣

Those were so great to see and we hope Damar continues to improve in the days, weeks and months ahead.
