The Memphis Grizzlies (27-25) host Southwest Division rival Dallas Mavericks (29-24) Wednesday at FedExForum for a 9:30 p.m. ET tip-off. Below, we analyze the Mavericks-Grizzlies odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

Dallas has lost two straight and three of four (1-3 against the spread) with the latest being a 113-95 beatdown by the Philadelphia 76ers Monday as 3.5-point home dogs.

Before this four-game stretch, the Mavs won five in a row, including four consecutive road games.

Memphis broke a two-game losing skid by taking down the Chicago Bulls 101-90 as 2.5-point home favorites Monday.

The Grizzlies are 5-2 overall and ATS over the past two weeks with three straight victories on road over winning Eastern Conference teams.

The Mavs have won three of their last four meetings with the Grizzlies since the beginning of last season when Memphis drafted Ja Morant with the No. 2 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

PASS with a slight “LEAN” to the Mavericks (-155) because it’s on the fringe of my price range for a favorite, and I’m tossing around the idea of parlaying Dallas’ money line with another similarly priced favorite.

Against the spread (ATS)

BET MAVERICKS -3 (-110) for 1 unit because they match up very well with the Grizzlies.

Memphis is ranked first or second in several miscellaneous areas such as points off turnovers, second-chance points, fast-break points and paint points per game.

But, Dallas is above average defensively in these areas while allowing the fifth-fewest paint points per game and the third-fewest points off of turnovers per game.

Also, the Mavs do a good job defending what the Grizzlies do frequently. Memphis attempts the fifth-highest volume of mid-range shots, and Dallas is 10th in defensive field goal shooting in mid-range attempts, according to CleaningTheGlass.com.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 225.5 (-110) for a half-unit because the “sharp” side of the market (the money column of the betting splits) is on the total while the bets placed column is nearly a 50-50 split, according to Pregame.com.
