CU men’s basketball offers 6-foot-10 prospect Bangot Dak

Colorado extended an offer to rising 2024 prospect Bangot Dak

The Colorado men’s basketball team already has a ton of excitement with Cody Williams entering this fall. Now, the Buffs are sending out more offers as head coach Tad Boyle and his staff try to return to the NCAA Tournament and compete in the tough Pac-12.

On Wednesday, the Buffs offered class of 2024 center Bangot Dak, and the strong defensive player comes with a world of hype. He played at Lincoln Southeast High School in Nebraska and is now committed to a post-grad season at Sunrise Christian Academy.

Here’s a brief snippet on Dak, courtesy of The Lincoln Journal Star’s Chris Basnett:

A 6-foot-9 rim protector with the ability to guard on the perimeter, Dak could be the best defensive player in the Class A field. He blocks 2.3 shots per game, and alters several more than that for the Knights, while averaging 11.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.

Dak lists himself at 6-foot-10 on his Twitter, however.

While Colorado is his biggest suitor yet, he also received a recent offer from Division I Purdue-Fort Wayne.
