Crimson Tide MBB ranks No. 7 in USA TODAY Sports coaches poll

Crimson Tide jump up two spots to No. 7 in this week’s coaches poll

The Alabama Crimson Tide have been one of the best basketball teams in the country to start the year standing at 13-2 as they head into the thick of SEC play. What’s even more impressive about the Tide’s 13-2 start is the fact that they currently have the fourth-strongest strength of schedule to date.

The Tide already have marquee wins over Houston, UNC, Mississippi State and Michigan State with their only two losses coming against No. 2 Houston and No. 10 Gonzaga. The Tide will be in contention for a 1 seed come March Madness and their tough out-of-conference play will certainly fare well.

People across the country are starting to notice how dangerous this Alabama team is as this week’s Coaches Poll sees the Tide climbing two spots to No. 7.
