Alabama didn’t win in a pretty way on Saturday, but a W is a W to most rational people, especially against a rival such as LSU.
After a 20-14 win against the LSU Tigers at home, the Crimson Tide’s position in the AP Poll remains unchanged.
Cincinnati and, of course, the Georgia Bulldogs are the two teams directly ahead of them in the poll.
After a close game against Tulsa, I expected the Bearcats to surrender their No. 2 position to the Crimson Tide. However, the voters didn’t feel the same way that I did. Just four points separate Cincy and Alabama in the poll, showing that Cincinnati’s margin for error is miniscule.
UGA dominated against the Missouri Tigers on Saturday, continuing to solidify their position as the best team in college football.
