Well. a disaster was avoidedwith Prescott suffering a not-considered-serious muscle strain in his right shoulder, but it does raise questions about the backup roles that doomed the 2020 season.
The big eye-opener was wide receiver CeeDee Lamb making acrobatic catches with ease and giving a taste of what a sophomore standout he could be. That combined with Amari Cooper’s lack of participation has people wondering if Lamb is the best receiver on the roster.
The secondary is reloaded with rookie cornerback Kelvin Joseph, free agent safety Malik Hooker, and the potential breakout of corner Trevon Diggs and safety Donovan Wilson. Will this defense overall be much improved this season?
