Cowboys Amari Cooper breaks 1,000-yard mark yet again

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper hits 1,000 yards receiving for the third straight year.

There was once a time when the Dallas Cowboys were ridiculed for the trade with the then Oakland Raiders that brought Amari Cooper to town. All he’s done since then is rack up 1000 yard seasons, with his 69-yard reception putting him over the top in 2020.

Dallas has three receivers that are capable of taking over games, today’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles has been a showcase in what happens when all of them do. The Cowboys trio of top flight wide receivers are averaging over 25 yards a catch through three quarters.

Cooper is pacing behind his career best 2019 season in terms of numbers, but to do what he’s done with a hodge-podge of quarterback and offensive line play might make this his best season yet.
