On Saturday evening, Tua Tagovailoa posted a picture to his Instagram story that is making everyone wonder what it means. But let’s be honest, it’s hard not to over-analyze about every single thing he does and says right now.

This picture could have alot of meaning. It could simply mean he’s trying to be patient as he waits to return to the game he loves, but, what if it’s a hint of a possible comeback for his senior year with the Crimson Tide. How amazing would that be?! If Tua and other juniors decided to return next season, just take a moment to imagine how incredible that would be to witness.
We will find out more on who is officially declaring for the 2020 NFL Draft, and who is decided to stay for their senior year once Alabama plays Michigan in the Citrus Bowl. But for now, the question remains… what will Tua do?
If Tua did decide to stay in Tuscaloosa for one more season, there’s no doubt his experience, leadership, and skill set would send this team back to the CFB Playoff. There are a lot of questions regarding the quarterback postiion for next season. If Tua goes pro, that leaves Mac Jones and Taulia Tagovailoa as the obvious two guys to fight for the starting job, but when you factor in the other back up quarterbacks including Paul Tyson, and Bryce Young, the 5 star quarterback who will be in Tusaloosa this next season, things are about to get very interesting in Tuscaloosa. But, if Tua was to return, I think the answer is simple: Tua is the stater.
In all honesty, a return for Tua could also be a message to the NFL that he can play AND stay healthy and injury free. If Tua wouldn’t have gotten injured with an ankle injury and then weeks later, suffering a season ending hip injury, Alabama’s season could’ve go A LOT differently. For starters, LSU would’ve faced a 100% healthy Tagovailoa, and that means he also would’ve played in the Iron Bowl.
So, not only could a return for Tua mean a chance to prove his health to the NFL, he has the chance to also win the Heisman, and most importantly, lead his team back to the CFB Playoff.
Regardless of his decision, Alabama nation will support him no matter what.
But we can ALL agree how amazing it would be to see Tagovailoa in his #13 Alabama jersey for just one more season.
Roll Tide!
