Could the Ravens trade for Jets OLB Haason Reddick?

Could the Ravens make a move for New York Jets outside linebacker Haason Reddick?

The Baltimore Ravens will rely on plenty of youth in their pass-rushing department over the course of the 2024 season. Veteran Jadeveon Clowney went to the Carolina Panthers in the offseason, meaning that younger players on the roster will need to fill his void.

If Baltimore wanted to look for a veteran option on the edge, disgruntled New York Jets pass rusher Haason Reddick, who has 58 career sacks, would be an intriguing name. Alex Ballentine of Bleacher Report put together one trade that every NFL team should make and proposed that the Ravens acquire Reddick in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick.

Reddick wants a new contract, and it’s unclear if Baltimore is the best team to give it to him. However, if things get so bad in New York that the Jets need to move off of a player they just acquired, Reddick could be a huge missing piece for the Ravens’ defense, even if it is just for one season
