Could the Cardinals trade No. 3 pick to Vikings?

In a new mock draft, the Cardinals get three first-round picks and a veteran pass rusher for the No. 3 pick in the draft.

We know the Arizona Cardinals are seriously considering trading the No. 3 pick in the draft. They have talked to at least six teams about it.

How far back would they be willing to go?

Would they be willing to trade back all the way to the 23rd pick?

A new mock draft by Vikings Wire managing editor Tyler Forness has a crazy trade.

He has the Vikings moving up from the 23rd overall pick to No. 3 to select Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson.

What do the Cardinals get? They get three first-round picks and a pass rusher.

The Vikings would give up the 23rd pick and their first-round picks in both 2024 and 2025, and they also send defensive end Danielle Hunter to Arizona as part of the deal.

Hunter is still very productive. He was a Pro Bowler in 2022 with 10.5 sacks and 22 quarterback hits. He has one year remaining on his contract for $4.9 million in salary and bonuses that can bring the total to $5.5 million. He is 28 years old still.

It is moving back 20 picks but it gives them two future first-round picks and a premier pass rusher who knows the coaches.

Would you make this deal?
