Could Notre Dame have linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa back for Georgia?

KVA’s return would add more depth for the Irish defense

The Notre Dame football defense has been beaten up this fall, as they’ve lost more than a few major contributors on that side of the ball, but it didn’t matter on Friday against Indiana in the first-round of the College Football Playoff.

Some of the injuries weren’t the season-ending variety, and that looks to be the case for true freshman linebacker [autotag]Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa[/autotag]. While he has missed the last two games with a knee injury, there is potential that the time off has helped him heal up.

While this may not be the a perfect source for his availability against the Georgia Bulldogs, Taliuta Viliamu-Asa, KVA’s mother says that her son will be there for the game.

That doesn’t mean that he will play, but it does look like he is trending in the right direction to suit up once again. Viliamu-Asa isn’t a starter, but he has contributed plenty this fall, and his return for the Irish would be a great to see.
