Could Eagles WR Jalen Reagor lead all NFL rookies in receiving yards?

ESPN insider Matt Bowen says Jalen Reagor will lead all NFL rookies in receiving yards

The NFL Draft has concluded and we’ll spend the next few months projecting and predicting stat lines for all the top rookies.

ESPN+ insiders played the game of bold predictions recently and Eagles first-round pick Jalen Reagor was a favorite of analyst Matt Bowen.

Bowen has some lofty projections for the Eagles stud, predicting that Reagor will lead all NFL rookies in receiving yards.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jalen Reagor will lead all rookies in receiving yards. The first-round pick has the vertical stretch ability to threaten down the field, but he will be a full-scheme player in coach Doug Pederson’s offense. That means quick-game throws, play-action and run-pass option targets, and reps in the slot. Plus, Pederson will work to get Reagor loose on screens to utilize his explosive ability after the catch.

Reagor’s competition will be stiff and will likely come from names like Henry Ruggs, CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy, Justin Jefferson, Denzel Mims, Brandon Aiyuk, Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman Jr. and more.

The expectations are lofty, but if Reagor delivers for the Eagles right out the gate, it’ll likely translate into a more explosive offense for Carson Wentz and Philadelphia locking down a fourth straight playoff appearance.
