Could Chad Johnson play a role in Joe Burrow coming to Bengals?

Chad Johnson weighed in on the situation.

The Cincinnati Bengals have an incredible brand ambassador in former star wideout Chad Johnson.

Johnson has been effusive in his praise for the Bengals over the years and has linked up with current players consistently.

And now he said he’d like to sit down with potential No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow and tell him how much the city of Cincinnati will love him.

Even better? As of this writing, Burrow liked that very tweet from Chad.

This might all sound pretty silly right now — and especially in hindsight — but it comes at a trying time for Bengals fans as the national perspective doesn’t paint the team or the odds of getting Burrow in a good light.

But that’s just Chad being Chad, right? He’s offered advice to Bengals fans. He’s linked up with Zac Taylor. He’s helped John Ross and he’s a massive Tyler Boyd fan.

So yeah, Chad’s going to paint the Bengals in a good light to Burrow.
