Could we be about to witness the birth of the next NBA/ Hip Hop crossover collaboration? Fans of the Boston Celtics and All-Star forward Jaylen Brown, in particular, may recall that the Georgia native recently collaborated on a court — as in designing one with a Maya theme — at the New York City streetball mecca Rucker Park with rapper A$AP Ferg, and their time together evidently made an impression on the rapper.
Speaking in an interview at the Rolling Loud festival in New York City, A$AP Ferg was asked which NBA star he might most like to drop a feature on a new song, the rapper did not hesitate a second in replying Brown would be his choice. The Cal-Berkeley product is well-known to be a man of diverse interests who has dabbled with deejaying in the past, so he might well have a knack for it.
He would, if he did dive into the world of music, join teammate Marcus Smart in such a venture (h/t to Celtics Brr for the find).

No word from Brown as to whether the interest would be mutual but certainly something to keep our antenna up for just the same.
