In fact, this became very much a thing nearly a year ago, when Corgi racing was shown on ESPN and Twitter went rightfully nuts at the dogs running down a track and eventually winning a championship. Yes! Corgis! Racing! Who doesn’t love that?
This time around, it was part of ESPN’s annual “The Ocho” day of programming — if it’s almost a sport, it’s on ESPN2 for most of Friday, Aug 5! — and once again fans on Twitter were sharing it and loving all the pups running around.
