Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson and Brian Allen expected to play vs. Bucs

Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson and Brian Allen are all expected to be good to go for Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers

Cooper Kupp gave Rams fans a scare last week when he suffered an ankle injury late against the 49ers and was walking with a limp after the game, but it won’t cause him to miss any time. Sean McVay said Friday that Kupp is expected to play against the Buccaneers this weekend despite being limited in practice.

McVay also said Van Jefferson and Brian Allen are expected to play against Tampa Bay after also missing some time in practice. Jefferson is managing the knee injury that kept him out for six games, while Allen had some knee swelling coming out of Sunday’s loss.

Those were the most notable players on the injury report this week. Backup linebacker Jake Hummel suffered a groin injury in practice and has been ruled out.

McVay didn’t give an update on Ernest Jones or Greg Gaines, who were out sick Thursday.
