Contract details for 7th-round pick Michael Menet

Menet gets more than $89,000 in a signing bonus.

The Arizona Cardinals have signed five of their seven draft picks to contracts. The details of those contracts have begun to come in.

One of the first draft picks to sign was center Michael Menet, whom the Cardinals selected in the seventh round with the 247th overall pick in the draft.

SI.com’s Howard Balzer has the details.

The total value of Menet’s contract is $3,569,060 with a signing bonus of $89,060.

The cap charge if on the regular-season roster for Wiggins will be $684,574 and $682,265 for Menet.

He is due to make $660,000 in salary this season. It increases to $825,000, $940,000 and $1.055 million the next three seasons.

However, notes Balzer, his contract is a split contract for 2021 and 2022, meaning if they land on injured reserve, their salary drops to $415,000.
