Roosevelt Roberts (vs. Brok Weaver)
[autotag]Roosevelt Roberts[/autotag] earned a contract on DWCS in July 2018 when he choked out Garrett Gross in the second round.
He then tasted success in his first two UFC bouts, submitting Darrell Horcher in the first round, then defeating Thomas Gifford via unanimous decision.
Roberts (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) suffered his first pro loss to Vinc Pichel last June, but capitalized on an opportunity to replace the man that bounced him out of the ranks of the unbeaten when he stepped in for Pinchel to face Alexander Yakovlev in Moscow. He won the fight by unanimous decision.
Now he is set to face Brok Weaver in a battle of rising former Contender Series prospects.
