Construction on Folsom Field’s new south end video board nearly complete

Folsom Field’s ginormous new video board is nearly complete

Well ahead of Colorado football’s 2024 season opener against the North Dakota State Bison, construction on Folsom Field’s new south-end video board appears nearly complete.

Monday morning, CU athletic director Rick George posted a picture of the main video board and the underneath ribbon board being turned on together for the first time.

The new south jumbotron measures 130 feet wide by 36 feet tall, over five times larger than the surface area of the old board. Underneath, the ribbon board extends from the top of section 203 to the top of 220.

Construction of the new video board, which cost approximately $15 million, began early this year.
