Composite Top 25: Combining the Coaches, AP and CFP rankings

Where would Alabama and the SEC land in a composite top 25 ranking?

The College Football Playoffs committee revealed the latest edition of the top 25 CFP rankings on Tuesday. There were no surprises at the top with Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, and TCU maintaining control of the top four spots. All four teams saw some adversity in their games during Week 12.

The next five saw a bit of a shakeup as LSU, USC, Alabama, Clemson, and Oregon moved up as Tennessee fell down the rankings. Where would these teams rank in a composite top 25?

Using the USA TODAY Sports Coaches poll, the AP top 25 poll, and the recent CFP rankings, we have come up with a combined poll to give an average ranking for each team. The No. 1 spot earned 25 points and the No. 25 spot would earn one point.

There were a total of 26 teams to earn points this week. Only one of them failed to earn more than one point and land at No. 26 in the Week 12 composite poll.
