Comeback Korda: Nelly Korda is back on the range after blood clot surgery last month

Doesn’t get much better than Korda’s move.

Nelly Korda recently underwent surgery for a blood clot in a subclavian vein in her left arm and is now back on the range.

“I am pleased to report the procedure went well and the doctors were happy with the outcome,” Korda wrote in a social media post after her surgery. “I am now home recovering and preparing to start rehab. I am looking forward to getting back to 100 percent so I can begin practicing.”

Korda originally announced her blood clot diagnosis on March 13th.

Despite her break from tournament play, she’s still ranked No. 2 in the world, only behind Jin Young Ko. Korda’s last start came at the LPGA Drive On Championship where she tied for 15th.

Let’s be honest, not sure there are more than one or two players in all of golf with a better swing than this.

It’s still uncertain when the 23-year-old will return to the LPGA. She is not listed in the field for next week’s Bank of Hope Match Play event.

But whenever it comes, the game will be ecstatic to have her back.
