Colts vs. Patriots set for prime time in Week 15

The Colts and Patriots are set for prime time in Week 15.

The time and date for the Week 15 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots has been set, the league announced Tuesday.

When the schedule was released, this matchup didn’t have a time or date set because there was a chance it would be on a Saturday. That’s the case now as the Colts will host the Patriots on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 8:20 p.m. ET. The game will air on NFL Network.

Given that both teams are in the hunt for a playoff spot, it was expected that this matchup might be flexed to prime time. Now, the Colts will have two prime-time games left on the schedule.

Indy is set to visit the Arizona Cardinals on Dec. 25 for a Christmas matchup, which will also be on Saturday at 8:20 p.m. ET.

Both the Colts and Patriots will be coming off of a bye when they host the Patriots in Week 15 so neither team will have to deal with a short week.
