The Indianapolis Colts signed kicker Chase McLaughlin from the practice squad to the active roster and waived wide receiver Dezmon Patmon, the team announced Tuesday.
McLaughlin has been on the practice squad for the last three games and has been elevated every week since then. Because players only get three standard elevations, the Colts had to sign him to the active roster.
In the two games where McLaughlin actually has attempts—his first game was the Week 2 shutout—he has converted both of his extra-point attempts and has gone one-of-two on field-goal attempts.
Patmon has been a healthy scratch during three games and was only active when Michael Pittman Jr. missed the game in Week 2.
