After being let go during Tuesday’s final cuts, former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Racey McMath has found a new home within the AFC South.
The Indianapolis Colts announced on Thursday that McMath has signed to practice squad. The LSU product had a two-year stint in Tennessee after being drafted by the team in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Despite having all the physical tools you could ever want in a wide receiver, McMath was never able to put it all together from a consistency or health standpoint to maximize his full potential.
The 6-foot-3, 217-pound wide receiver, who ran a 4.3 40 time during his pro day, made most of his contributions on special teams, only tallying four catches for 48 yards on offense over 14 career games in Tennessee.
McMath will now try to revitalize his career in Indy, where the opportunity is certainly there for the taking on a Colts team that only has four receivers on the active roster as of this writing.
