Colts remain 7.5-point favorites over Panthers

Colts enter the weekend as favorites.

The Indianapolis Colts (6-8) will roll into the weekend remaining the strong favorites they were when they opened the week in preparation to host the Carolina Panthers (5-9) at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The line for the Colts didn’t shift at all throughout the week even with the news that rookie quarterback Will Grier is starting for the Panthers. The Colts remain 7.5-point favorites in Week 16, per BetMGM.

The total remains at 45.5 for the matchup and the Colts’ implied total is 30 points from Vegas.

With both teams out of the playoffs, the Colts and Panthers will be experimenting a bit. While the Panthers roll with their third-round rookie under center, the Colts will be making some changes to the offense to see how the unit responds in the final two games.

Both teams are struggling. The Panthers are on a six-game losing streak and have lost seven of their last eight while the Colts are on a four-game losing streak and have lost six of their last seven.
