The leader in sacks for the Indianapolis Colts won’t play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
The Colts placed defensive lineman Denico Autry on the COVID-19 reserve list on Friday.
Autry has a team-high six sacks in nine games, including four in the last three games. He’s also second in quarterback hits (seven) and total pressures (22), trailing only DeForest Buckner in both categories.
Colts Wire managing editor Kevin Hickey told Packers Wire that Autry is a “versatile defensive lineman” who will “line up at the three-technique and on the edge” and is “strong at the point of attack and can win with excellent hand usage.”
Autry was on the field for 69 percent of the Colts’ defensive snaps through the first nine games.
The Colts will likely use more of Al-Quadin Muhammad and Ben Banogu at defensive end opposite Justin Houston on Sunday.
Since joining the Colts in 2018, Autry has 18.5 sacks, 24 tackles for losses and 29 quarterback hits.
