The Indianapolis Colts placed safety Andrew Sendejo on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Thursday.
Sendejo seemed to be on his way to returning after missing the last two games due to a concussion. He was a limited participant on Wednesday but now will miss Sunday’s finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars even with the new protocols in place.
Since Julian Blackmon tore his Achilles, Sendejo has been a starter when healthy. With Sendejo missing his third consecutive game, the Colts are likely to lean on a combination of George Odum and Jahleel Addae.
