Colts open as 9.5-point road underdogs vs. Saints

Colts open as big underdogs.

The Indianapolis Colts (6-7) have just three games remaining in a regular season that could officially lose all of its meaning following the Week 15 matchup against the New Orleans Saints (10-3).

As they prepare for the primetime matchup at the Mercedez-Benz Superdome, the Colts open the week as 9.5-point road underdogs against the Saints, per BetMGM.

The Colts have been in a bad way ever since the start of the second half of the season. They’ve lost five of their last six games after a 5-2 start and have some serious question marks at a few positions to address this offseason.

The Saints have been enjoying a phenomenal year. They are primed for a playoff spot and were able to keep the ship afloat even when Drew Brees suffered a thumb injury that kept him out multiple weeks.

Though the chances of making the playoffs are already virtually impossible, the Colts’ will officially see an end to them if they lose against the Saints in this Monday night matchup.

The Colts face a big offseason ahead, and their focus could officially shift to that if they go on the road and lose—just as Vegas expects them to.
