Colts’ final injury report vs. Jaguars in Week 1

The final injury report for Week 1.

The Indianapolis Colts have released their final injury report updated with statuses for the Week 1 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars at TIAA Bank Field.

Despite missing practice on Thursday, the Colts saw the return of All-Pro left guard Quenton Nelson from a back injury on Friday. That bodes well for his chances to play on Sunday.

Here’s a look at the final injury report with game statuses ahead of the Week 1 opener:

Name Position Injury Wed. (9/9) Thurs. (9/10) Fri. (9/11) Game Status
Matthew Adams LB Ankle LP LP FP Quest.
Julian Blackmon S Knee LP LP LP OUT
Anthony Castonzo OT Rest/Oblique LP LP DNP
Ryan Kelly C Rest/Knee LP LP DP
Dezmon Patmon WR Knee LP FP FP
Quenton Nelson G Back DNP FP
Justin Houston DE Rest/Calf LP DNP
T.Y. Hilton WR Rest DNP
Denico Autry DT Rest DNP

This is a very encouraging sign that the Colts only ruled out one player on Friday. Given that Nelson, Kelly and Castzono were either limited or didn’t practice, this is a great sign for the offensive line as all three will be starting.

The Colts and Jaguars are set to kickoff on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET at TIAA Bank Field on CBS.
