With 10 practices under their belt and 10 still left to go over the next three weeks, the Indianapolis Colts are officially halfway through training camp.
The team still has all three preseason games to go so the roster is far from complete. Unlike the 2020 season, the Colts will have three mile-markers to get the roster down to 53 players for the upcoming regular season.
Each cut-down date will be the Tuesday following a preseason game. The first-cut down date (Aug. 17) will require the Colts to reduce the active roster from 90 to 85 players. The next cut day (Aug. 24) will be reduced another five spots down to 80 players. Then following the final preseason game, the third cut date (Aug. 31), will require the Colts to be down to 53 players.
