Colorado’s best 2023 NFL draft prospect according to ESPN

ESPN believes the Buffs have a projected late-round NFL draft pick in RJ Sneed

Almost like a professional player having one season to play before they become eligible for free agency, fifth-year senior RJ Sneed needs a strong season with Colorado to improve his NFL draft stock.

The former Baylor Bear balled out the past few seasons in Waco but doing so again in Boulder could make him an even more intriguing selection come April. He’s still in a good place, though, as ESPN considers Sneed to be CU’s best 2023 NFL draft prospect.

Here’s what ESPN writer Matt Miller wrote on Sneed:

Sneed is a newcomer to Colorado after five seasons at Baylor, and he should hit the ground running. While he’s not likely to be the fastest player in the receiving corps, he’ll be the most reliable. Sneed is a sure-handed weapon over the middle and a potential special teams ace in the NFL. He’s projected as a Day 3 pick.
