The first game of Colorado’s Coach Prime era was given a prime television spot.
FOX announced on Monday that both Colorado at TCU on Sept. 2 and Ohio State at Michigan on Nov. 25 are set for Big Noon Saturday, which means the Buffaloes’ 2023 season opener will kick off at 10 a.m. MT or 11 a.m. CT in Fort Worth.
While the early start isn’t exactly ideal for Buffs fans in Colorado, being selected for FOX’s Week 1 Big Noon game certainly indicates the hype around CU football.
Colorado fell to TCU, 38-13, in last season’s opener on ESPN. The Horned Frogs went on to reach the College Football Playoff National Championship, falling to Georgia, 65-7.
