Colorado tumbles out of US LBM Coaches Poll Top 25

After falling to Kansas, Colorado is no longer ranked in the US LBM Coaches Poll

After a gut-wrenching Week 13 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks, the Colorado Buffaloes are no longer ranked in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

The latest rankings were released on Sunday and Colorado (8-3, 6-2 Big 12) saw itself fall from No. 18 to just outside the top 25. Head coach Deion Sanders’ Buffs received 115 votes — the second-most among unranked teams.

In the increasingly chaotic Big 12 Conference, unranked Kansas State was just ahead of Colorado with 124 votes received. BYU fell five spots to No. 20, Iowa State rose four to No. 17 and the red-hot Arizona State Sun Devils surged seven spots to No. 15. Baylor, now riding a five-game winning streak, also picked up one vote.

The latest AP Top 25 College Football Poll was more favorable toward Colorado, which fell seven spots to No. 23.
