Money line (ML)

Miami took Tuesday’s series opener, 6-2. The victory marked just the Marlins’ second since May 26.

Colorado has had its woes in creating offense away from Coors Field. The Rockies’ anemic .558 road OPS ranks last in MLB. Some of that is batting-average-on-balls-in-play-related (Colorado has a .265 BABIP away from home).

Some of it is poor performance in high-leverage situations and some of it is schedule-related as the Rockies have played a tough slate with regard to pitching faced.

With Gomber’s stuff being so strong of late, the Rockies’ bullpen being more bottom-third bad and less prolifically bad (as perhaps their surface ERA indicates), and with left-handers bringing out much the better side of Colorado’s platoon splits (.780 OPS vs. lefties), BACK THE ROCKIES (+100) in this one.

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)

PASS on the run-line action; the low-score possibility here makes the multi-run play too iffy.

Over/Under (O/U)

Some play-Gomber/play-Colorado relievers lean works alongside two shaky offenses to make for some value on the UNDER 7.5 (-120).
