Two Alabama football transfers are reportedly set to give Colorado a closer look.
According to On3, freshman wide receiver Caleb Odom and third-year defensive lineman Jeheim Oatis are both expected to visit Boulder this week.
Odom is a former four-star prospect who finished his first college season with seven catches for 65 yards. Before joining the Crimson Tide, Odom was a teammate of Colorado quarterback signee Julian “JuJu” Lewis at Carrollton High School in Georgia. The two hooked up for 12 touchdowns during their final season together at Carrollton.
In early October, Oatis announced his plans to redshirt and enter the transfer portal, citing a lack of playing time. The 6-foot-5, 320-pounder tallied 50 total tackles, three TFLs and 1.5 sacks in the prior two seasons combined.
Other transfers who’ve reportedly locked in visits to Boulder include tight end Zach Atkins (Northwest Missouri State), offensive lineman Jordan White (Liberty) and defensive lineman Gavriel Lightfoot (Fresno State).
