Following Saturday’s narrow home loss to the Kansas State Wildcats, the Colorado Buffaloes are no longer receiving votes in the US LBM Coaches Poll.
CU earned nine votes after beating UCF in Week 6 and 16 votes the following week but are now down to zero. Sitting at 4-2 (2-1 Big 12) with six regular season games remaining, head coach Deion Sanders and the Buffs could gain votes back with a dominant showing at Arizona (3-3, 1-2 Big 12) next Saturday.
Kansas State, which was ranked No. 19 last week, moved up to No. 17 after beating Colorado in Boulder, 31-28. Among Big 12 teams, the Wildcats (5-1, 2-1) are ranked behind only No. 13 BYU and No. 12 Iowa State. Utah fell outside the top 25 after falling to Arizona State in Week 7.
