Colorado football recruiting: 2024 DB Tevis Metcalf announces top four schools

Colorado will have to beat out Auburn, Arkansas and Georgia Tech for Tevis Metcalf

The Colorado Buffaloes are facing some heavy competition for a number of top-tier recruits, including class of 2024 defensive back Tevis Metcalf.

Metcalf recently revealed his final four, and he has Colorado alongside Auburn, Arkansas and Georgia Tech, per his own Twitter page.

Metcalf is the cousin of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf, so Hugh Freeze being at Auburn is familiar with that family after he coached the older cousin at Ole Miss.

With Cormani McClain and Travis Hunter leading the way, the Buffs’ secondary already looks dangerous and adding Tevis Metcalf would only help, although he has one more year of high school left before coming to play college football.

Metcalf plays high school football in Alabama, so staying in the area could make the Buffs the longshot here. However, the lure of playing for Deion Sanders and the new-look Buffs program has everybody’s attention.
