One week after breaking into the AP Top 25, the Colorado Buffaloes are now ranked in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.
Colorado (6-2, 4-1 Big 12) landed No. 24 in the post-Week 10 Coaches Poll despite enjoying a bye week. The Buffs benefited from Illinois, Memphis and others losing in Week 10.
Three other Big 12 teams were ranked in the latest Coaches Poll: No. 9 BYU, No. 18 Iowa State and No. 21 Kansas State. The Cyclones fell eight spots and the Wildcats dropped six following Week 10 losses. BYU moved up three spots following a bye.
Colorado’s No. 24 ranking follows an excellent weekend for the Buffs, who benefitted from Iowa State and Kansas State losing. Looking at the Big 12 standings, the Buffs are now tied with Iowa State for second place.
CU will return to action in Week 11, taking on Texas Tech in Lubbock.
